Now is the time of year, when eighth graders and their families are investigating options for their high school enrollment. In the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation, there are many different full and part-day high school options available.
On November 6 students interested in learning more about EVSC’s New Tech Institute will have the opportunity to learn more. An Open House is planned at 6:30 p.m. at the school, located at 1901 Lynch Road.
At New Tech, the focus is on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (the STEM subjects) and Entrepreneurial Leadership — all through a model of Project-Based Learning. Opportunities to tour the site, meet with parents and school leaders and see project-based learning in action, will be provided.
