Spangler to Use His Business Experience to Cut Spending, Create Jobs
Citing a willingness to use his small business experience to work together to cut spending and strengthen the economy, Tom Spangler will announce his campaign as a Democratic candidate for Congress in the 8th Congressional District. Spangler is an entrepreneurial small business owner of L.U.I. PLUS, a marketing and distribution company of quality commercial furniture.
“I’m running because since 2012, Congress has only gotten more reckless and irresponsible and Congressman Bucshon is part of the problem,†said Spangler. “I’m looking forward to talking to voters about how I plan to take my business experience to Washington to cut out of control Washington spending and help our small businesses create jobs for Hoosiers.â€
As the owner of L.U.I. PLUS, Spangler moved the company to Indiana in 2002. Today, it has customers throughout the United States and several foreign countries.
Spangler is a born-again Christian and has served as an ordained deacon for over 25 years. He currently serves as director of his church’s outreach program, a Sunday School teacher and assists with the youth program. He and his wife, Penny have been married for 43 years and have two children; Amy Haas of Jasper and Thomas Andrew of Indianapolis. They have six grandchildren.

Okay, so he can procreate, goes to church, and is a businessman. I see no difference between him and the sitting congressman. Cutting spending agreed if it means cutting corporate welfare, tax breaks to oil companies (oil production is up over 30% and oil companies are exporting oil, yet the price of fuel is increasing, and they get tax incentives?). We need spending on infrastructure roads, bridges, dams, clean water and air.
I don’t care whether you go to church, or have the ability to make babies (all animals can do this), or have a successful business (politics is not a business). Tell us what qualities you can bring to the table that are different from Larry the Kocksucker.

Plus the born again christian nonsense means he want more ignoramuses like him indoctrinated into christianity via homeschooling, private schools etc.
He wants creationsism taught and global warming denied, prayer in school and a 1000 other superstitious theocratic nonsense implemented.
