The University of Southern Indiana will host Be a Teacher Day for prospective students, highlighting the importance of the profession of education, including a panel discussion with a superintendent, a principal, an elementary teacher, a first-year teacher, ESL teacher, and current teacher education students; a keynote presentation; a major matching event; a classroom experience; and a campus tour.
WHEN: Be a Teacher Day will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday, February 12. The schedule is available in detail at USI.edu/teacherday.
Elliott and Carroll will be available for media interviews from 8:45-9:15 a.m.
