Mater Dei Football Coach Mike Goebel Announces Retirement

After 28 seasons in the position, Mike Goebel announced his decision to retire as head football coach for Mater Dei High School.

His career record is 270-93, the most wins in SIAC history.

Under Goebel, the Wildcats won two state titles.
