IS IT TRUE that the only events scheduled in the Ford Center during December are Thunderbolts Hockey and Aces Basketball? …that we wonder how the FORD CENTER can afford to retire the $29 million construction debt?

IS IT TRUE that many families will go into debt to buy Christmas gifts? …that retailers no longer sell high-end products but sell the financing that makes it possible to buy them now?

IS IT TRUE that the city council will be presented with a request tonight to reappropriate over $3 million?

IS IT TRUE that a local sheriff is frustrated with state training standards that force a veteran deputy with 49 years of experience to meet the same physical standards as a new officer?

IS IT TRUE that Vanderburgh County deputies enjoyed the opportunity to set their razors aside for November? …that the deputies donated money to charity for the privilege of relaxing the uniform code? …That $3,000 was raised and split between Cancer Pathways, Chemo Buddies, and Oliver’s Heroes K9?

IS IT TRUE that the price tag for the new artificial Christmas tree for the Civic Center is a whooping $73,000?

IS IT TRUE that some local elected officials are telling constituents that Braun’s plan to reduce property tax will result in local communities raising income taxes to offset the revenue loss?
