Shooting Outside of Fire Department In the 2400 Block of West Maryland
UPDATE
Detectives have ascertained that several subjects on motorcycles had a disagreement with another driver. This ongoing dispute continued several miles and led to the driver of the vehicle pulling into a local fire station. The motorcyclist followed and a physical altercation occurred outside the fire station. One person was shot and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital. This is an active investigation and no arrests have been made at this time.

ORIGINAL SUMMARY
On November 4th at approximately 7:20 pm the Evansville Police Department responded to a shooting that occurred outside of an Evansville Fire Department station in the 2400 block of West Maryland Avenue. This investigation is in its early stages but what we know at this time is that we have one male shot who was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The person shot was conscious and breathing. We can also confirm that no firefighters were involved in this violent altercation that took place in the parking lot.
This investigation is in its early stages but this is what we know and can release at this time.
Detectives are currently interviewing those believed to be involved.
