Newburgh, Indiana – Our annual Fall Break Out of the Shelter: Foster-to-Adopt Event is back! This event will be taking place this Thursday, October 10th through Sunday, October 20th. This event is a great way to give a shelter dog a break from their kennel, take a dog home to foster before making the final big decision to adopt, or both! This year we have extended the length of the event so that each family has the opportunity to spend more time with their foster.
Event Highlights:
- To Get Started: Fill out an adoption application on our website, https://warrickhumanesociety.org/, and under ‘Animal Name’ put ‘Foster Event’
● First Come First Serve: All eligible dogs will be on a first come first serve basis for foster families to pick!
- Flexible Time-Frame: The first day of pick-up is October 10th and starts at 12pm. All dogs need to be adopted or back in our care by October 20th at 3pm. During the event, dogs can be picked up, dropped off, or adopted anytime during our open hours! We are open Wednesday-Thursday 12-7 and Friday-Sunday 12-4.
- Food Provided: We will provide your foster dog with food for the event!
