CenterPoint Energy launches Customer Experience Collaborative in southwestern Indiana 

 EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Sept. 26, 2024 – CenterPoint Energy today announced the launch of its first-ever Customer Experience Collaborative (CEC), an initiative designed to give residential and small business customers a direct engagement opportunity with company leaders. Starting today, applications are open for southwestern Indiana electric and/or natural gas customers interested in participating in this new program, which focuses on incorporating customer insights into the development of programs and services to better meet customer needs. 

 “We are excited to launch this new effort as a unique opportunity to connect directly with our southwestern Indiana customer base,” said Mike Roeder, CenterPoint’s Senior Vice President for External Affairs. “We understand that our commitment to these meetings goes beyond gathering feedback; it’s about making sure our customers’ voices become a key part of how we do business.” 

 The CEC will bring together a select group of customers from across CenterPoint’s southwestern Indiana service area, representing diverse perspectives and needs. Meetings will be structured in two parts: company representatives will first present on various aspects of operations and activities, followed by a collaborative session where participants will share their insights and feedback. 

 To ensure an inclusive and unbiased process, CenterPoint has partnered with HDR, Inc., an independent professional services firm, to manage the selection of participants and facilitate the meetings. The application process and recruitment will take place through mid-October, with the first meeting scheduled for November. 

 The CEC is another step in a broader effort by CenterPoint to listen and communicate with customers and strengthen its relationship with communities across its southwestern Indiana service territory. As CenterPoint continues to enhance its customer-focused initiatives, the company remains dedicated to its commitment to providing safe and reliable energy.
