Roland R. Brinker, a proud husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, passed away on September 8, 2024. He was born on January 19, 1940, to Ray and Lorena (Wesbecher) Brinker. A lifelong resident of Evansville, Roland was a graduate of North High School and a dedicated professional in the jewelry industry. He was the proud owner and jeweler of Brinker’s Jewelers, a family-run business he helped build and nurture, earning a stellar reputation for craftsmanship and care throughout the community. Roland’s life was filled with love for his family and a deep passion for golf, particularly at Eagle Valley Golf Course, where he spent countless hours enjoying the game he loved. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He leaves a legacy of love, hard work, and unwavering dedication to those he cared for most.
Roland is survived by his wife Jeanette (Kuhen) Brinker; children Dean (Cheryl) Brinker, Darren (Timberly), Dirk (Cindy) Brinker, and Garrett Brinker; grandchildren Kyle, Drew (Mallory), Trey, Eric, Collin (Emily), Cole (Casey), Chance, Dylan, Darcey, and Lanson; great-grandchildren Preston, James, and Cora; siblings Benny Brinker and Nancy Ubelhor; and many extended family and friends. Roland was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Lorena Brinker and siblings Leona Cook, Beatrice McFall, and Donald Brinker.
As Roland asked for, the services will be private.
