  1. Danielle Crook , Please consider putting the basketball , tennis court and the Little Otters playground back in Garvin’s Park .
    The neighborhood kids and adults sure can use them like we used to .

  2. Mr. Chandler, couldn’t agree more. Those items were promised under the interim parks director, never happened. Technically the interim director said those things were part of the Garvin Park Master Plan. More smoke and mirrors. Hard to believe I know. As you can see by the agenda, more pressing issues to consider. New Parks logo? Riveting!

  3. My suggestion is to gather folks who feel as you do and attend the above meeting. They meet the 1st and 3rd Wed each month. Toward the end of their meeting, they allow the public to speak. (usually 3 minutes). Prepare materials and info for the board. (5 copies- one for the secretary to file).Take advantage of that opportunity. Get your issue on the record. Use all social media available to you. Form a group- meet an discuss. Approach your Neighborhood Association live and online. Attend their meetings. Also the same applies for City Council meetings. However, file out the small request to speak slip just inside the door room 301 – 3rd floor – Civic Center. 5:30 pm. You ight be amazed at the number of folks who feel exactly as you do.
