Next, let’s talk about the incredible activities happening this summer at the Evansville Sports Complex. From exhilarating sports tournaments to high-energy league play, the complex is buzzing nearly seven days a week. Whether you’re a sports enthusiast or simply looking for a great time, the Evansville Sports Complex has something for everyone. Join us in cheering on talented athletes next month when the USSSA Great Lakes Nationals returns to Deaconess Sports Park July 10-16. We anticipate an electrifying atmosphere featuring nearly 200 softball teams from across the country.

While we embrace the thrill of the present, we are also eagerly planning for an extraordinary celestial event set to take place in 2024. That’s right, mark your calendars for April 8, 2024, because Evansville is gearing up for the highly anticipated Solar Eclipse! As one of the premier locations to witness this rare celestial spectacle, we are working diligently to ensure that this once-in-a-lifetime event leaves a lasting impression on visitors and residents.
