Arrest of former Evansville Parks & Recreation Director

SUMMARY 

This morning, April 25th, an arrest warrant for former Evansville Parks and Recreation Director Brian Holtz was obtained by Evansville Police Financial Crimes Detectives. Holtz was made aware of the warrant, turned himself in, and is being booked into the Vanderburgh County Confinement Center. 

A joint press conference with the Evansville Police Department and the Mayor’s Office will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Evansville Police Department headquarters to discuss this lengthy investigation. Holtz had been charged with the following crimes:

CT II Official Misconduct [L6] IC CODE: 35-44.1-1-1 

CT III Counterfeiting [L6] IC CODE: 35-43-5-2(a) 

CT IV Counterfeiting [L6] IC CODE: 35-43-5-2(a) 

CT V Counterfeiting [L6] IC CODE: 35-43-5-2(a) 

CT VI Counterfeiting [L6] IC CODE: 35-43-5-2(a) 

CT VII Counterfeiting [L6] IC CODE: 35-43-5-2(a) 

CT VIII Counterfeiting [L6] IC CODE: 35-43-5-2(a) 

CT IX Counterfeiting [L6] IC CODE: 35-43-5-2(a) 

CT X Counterfeiting [L6] IC CODE: 35-43-5-2(a)

  1. Maybe this is why we can’t get the basketball courts & the Little Otters playground replaced at Garvin’s Park ?????????
