28th Annual “Ritzy’s Fantasy Of Lights” Will Shine In Garvin Park Through Jan. 1, 2022.
The “magical mile of holiday lights†brings the community a welcome holiday tradition
while raising essential funds for the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center.
Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights will be open nightly from Thanksgiving through Jan. 1, 5-9 p.m. Sundays-Thursdays and 5-10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The show, which raises crucial funds for the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center, will again feature the popular and naturally socially distanced drive-through format.
Touchless ticketing is still an option for visitors in 2021! Tickets can be purchased online atbidpal.net/ritzysfol21 in advance and during this year’s event. Tickets are also available in advance from any Ritzy’s restaurant location in Evansville. Guests are encouraged to take advantage of this online option although cash will still be accepted at the gate.
Admission per vehicle remains the same affordable price: Up to 6 people $7; 7-14 people $10; 15 or more people $25. For discounted pricing on quantities of 50 tickets or more, contact Carolyn Franklin, Director of Special Events, 812.437.2607 or cfranklin@evansvillerehab.com.
Five new displays have been added for a total of 70 holiday scenes that are spaced throughout Evansville’s Garvin Park. And this year, ALL of the displays have been transformed with brighter, more energy-efficient LED light bulbs.
Horse-drawn carriage rides will be available nightly, weather permitting. Carriage rides are cash only, paid at the time of arrival and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not required or accepted. Masks are strongly encouraged and all carriage riders are asked to bring their own blankets if they would like one during their ride.  For other details on carriage rides, call Horseshoe Bend Carriage Co. at 812.449.6321. Every effort will be made to post on the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center’s Facebook page in advance of 5PM if the carriage rides will not be available due to weather.
Bright Lights 5K/1-mile community walk returns this year on Wednesday, Dec. 1. Race and registration information can be found at https://runsignup.com/Race/IN/Evansville/BrightLights5K.
The Polar Bear Express will also return this year on Tuesdays leading up to Christmas! Sponsored by Jim Back, CFP, Edward Jones, the Polar Bear Express is $5 per person and allows riders to experience Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights with Santa as he tells stories about the displays.
