Transformative Leadership in Healthcare: A Conversation With Quint Studer
First in lecture series to be held Thursday, September 23 at USI.
Quint Studer, President of Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Florida, will be the first speaker in the University of Southern Indiana’s Master of Health Administration Program lecture series, Transformative Leadership in Healthcare, on Thursday, September 23. The event, which includes breakfast, will be held from 8-10:30 am on the third floor of the Health Professions Center on the USI campus.
Studer has spent nearly four decades in healthcare, having worked for multiple healthcare systems before joining Baptist Hospital. He is the founder of the Studer Community Institute, a not-for-profit with a mission to improve the quality of life for people. He has written 10 books, including The Busy Leader’s Handbook, which debuted at No. 5 on the Wall Street Journal’s Best Sellers list in 2019.
At USI, Studer’s conversation will focus on overcoming two of the latest hardships facing healthcare leadership today: engaging employees and scaling innovative leadership tactics for future success.
This program is pending approval for 1.5 hours of ACHE Qualified Education credit toward advancement or recertification in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
