Man Arrested For Shooting A Person At Local Bar Parking Lot
 On Tuesday, August 10th around 11:15 p.m. officers were dispatched to 1331 W. Franklin St. (Lamasco Bar & Grill) for shots fired. When officers arrived, they located a victim with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. After further investigation, it was found that a physical altercation occurred inside the establishment which led to both parties being told to leave. While the victim was getting into his vehicle, the offender began shooting at him. The offender left the scene but was quickly located and apprehended by officers; he (Erik O. Washington, 35) was transported to EPD headquarters and then to the Vanderburgh County Jail.Â
The victim was treated by medics on scene and was then transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Crime Scene and Detectives were called to process the scene. A vehicle was also struck by gunfire.Â
