Each year the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge # 73 with assistance from the EVSC, selects a number of children who could benefit from a personalized Christmas Party. Approximately 80 -100 children are picked up by bus and transported to the FOP Pal Camp located at 5417 North Happe Road.
Upon arrival, the children are warmly welcomed by police officers, entertained by clowns and fed as they anxiously await the arrival of the star of the party, Santa Claus.
Each child gets a photo with the jolly old elf and then they receive a gift specially selected for them by their age and gender. After many smiles, hugs and a few tears, they are ushered back to their bus and taken back to town.
This year’s event at the FOP Camp will take place on Saturday, December 14th, from 9:30 am until Noon.
