 On April 16, around 9:00 p.m., the Evansville Police Department was dispatched to Washington Ave, just east of Kentucky Ave, for a single car accident involving a pedestrian.Â
A vehicle traveling eastbound stuck a pedestrian crossing the street southbound. The pedestrian was unresponsive on scene. He was transported to a local hospital and is currently in ICU.Â
The driver of the vehicle showed no signs of impairment and consented to a chemical test. Multiple witnesses provided statements. Detectives, Crime Scene and an Accident Reconstructionist arrived at the scene to investigate.Â
