Tim O’Brien Wins Indiana State Representative, House District 78 Caucus

Tim O’Brien wins Hollie Sullivan open seat for Indiana State Representative, House District 78 at tonight’s local Republican caucus.

District 78  House seat became vacant right after the recent appointment of Holli Sullivan as Secretary of State by Governor Eric Holcomb.

Meet Tim O’Brien The Newly Elected District 78 State Representative

Tim O’Brien is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, as a University Honors Scholar. Tim is a driven, hardworking professional who is well equipped with strong problem solving, communication, and leadership skills. Mr. O’Brien is a Real Estate Broker with F.C. Tucker Emge Realtors and represents consumers in and around the Evansville area.

Over the years, he has had the honor of advocating on behalf of his clients and assisting many individuals pursue their dreams down the path to homeownership. Mr. O’Brien is a 2019 recipient of the Courier & Press/Tri State Business Journal 20 Under 40 award and has been featured as a member of the Next Generation of Leader’s in Evansville Business magazine.

In 2019, Mr. O’Brien served as the President of the Southwest Indiana Association of Realtors. Tim is an active member of the community, volunteering with many organizations and serving on numerous boards including the City of Evansville’s Land Bank Corp. Board of Directors and the Indiana Association of Realtors. Mr. O’Brien serves as a Heritage Federal Credit Union Board of Directors member and is currently holding an officer role, serving as the Board Treasurer.

Mr. O’Brien served as a Delegate to the Indiana State Republican party convention in 2020, representing Vanderburgh County. Tim is currently serving as Secretary on the Vanderburgh County Republican Party Central Committee and as an elected Precinct Committeeman for HD 78.
