On February 24, around 8:15 p.m., the Evansville Police Department was called about a hit and run accident that occurred at 604 N. St. Joseph Ave. (Taco John’s). The victim said that while he was waiting in the driver thru, he heard a vehicle rev the engine that was behind him and then slam into the rear of his vehicle. The vehicle then sped off at a high rate of speed.
