Homicide 2200 block of Sunburst Blvd

 On March 14, around 7:30 a.m., the Evansville Police Department (E.P.D.) was called to the 2200 block of Sunburst Blvd. for a person down. The 911 caller told police dispatch that he found a male on the ground who appeared to be deceased. 

When officers arrived they were able to confirm that the male was deceased possibly due to a gunshot wound. 

E.P.D.’s Crime Scene and detectives were called to the scene to investigate along with the coroner. 

The victim’s identity will be released pending the coroner’s notification.
