Around 6:45 p.m. on October 31, the Evansville Police Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at Kentucky and Keck. Once on scene the arriving officers could tell the driver was likely deceased.Â
Both an ambulance crew and the Evansville Fire Department attempted life saving measures with no success.Â
After the coroner arrived, he was able to determine that the victim had died from a gunshot wound and not from the motor vehicle accident. This case is now being investigated as a homicide.Â
