 This morning around 5:45 a.m. the Evansville Police Department was called to the 1500 block of Cumberland Avenue for a medical emergency assist. The caller advised that she fell asleep with her one and a half month old child in her bed. When she woke up this morning she discovered that her child was not breathing.Â
 The Evansville Fire Department, along with an ambulance crew, attempted to resuscitate the infant. The infant was later pronounced deceased on scene.
 The incident is currently being investigated by the Evansville Police Department’s Crime Scene, Adult Detective, and Juvenile Detective Units.Â
