Shooting on Bayard Park Dr.

 Early this morning around 1:45 a.m., while on routine patrol, officers discovered a male sitting in a car in the 700 block of Bayard Park Dr. The officers noticed the man was bleeding so they stopped to check on his welfare. They noticed he had a gunshot wound to his leg and to his arm. 

  The man claims he was walking in the area of Bayard Park and Kentucky when he was suddenly shot. He could neither give any suspect or vehicle descriptions, nor think of anyone who might want to do him harm. 

  The area where the man claimed to have been shot was thoroughly checked, but a crime scene could not be located at this time. 

  He was transported to the hospital by an ambulance where he is expected to survive his injuries.
