The Substance Abuse Council of Vanderburgh County is pleased to announce that Wally Paynter of Evansville has been hired as its new Executive Director, effective June 1.
Mr. Paynter, a University of Evansville graduate, has over 30 years of experience working with at-risk populations including 12 years of service as a member of the Substance Abuse Council Board of Directors. He replaces Lorraine Wurtz, who retired as of June 1.
