Small businesses and nonprofits across the state that are resuming operations can go online to the Small Business PPE Marketplace to request personal protective equipment.

At backontrack.in.gov/ppemarketplace.htm, businesses with less than 150 associates can order Hoosier-made masks, face shields and hand sanitizer. These important resources are key to ensuring the health and safety of employees and patrons.

Already, more than 10,000 orders have been fulfilled, and additional orders can still be made online as the state prepares to ship more protective gear in the coming weeks. Eligible businesses include restaurants, retail sales, personal services, and offices. They must also be registered in Indiana with the Secretary of State’s Office, and need PPE to reopen and comply with workplace safety requirements.

The Small Business PPE Marketplace serves as a secondary source for these supplies, with businesses encouraged to seek out their own PPE first due to worldwide demands.

Hoosier small businesses and nonprofits provide our state with crucial goods and services. While many are eager to get back to work, appropriate safety measures should be followed to protect the health of employees and the public. Click here to learn more.

Additionally, the Indiana Manufacturers Association started an online supply listing where Hoosier companies can order PPE for employees as they begin reopening. Those producing personal protective equipment can also be listed on the database. Visit www.indianamfg.com for more information.
