“Right Jab And Middle Jab And Left Jab” was created because we have a couple of commenters that post on a daily basis either in our “IS IT TRUE” or “Readers Forum” columns concerning National or International issues.
The majority of our “IS IT TRUE” columns are about local or state issues, so we have decided to give our more opinionated readers exclusive access to our newly created “LEFT JAB and Middle Jab and RIGHT JAB”  column. They now have this post to exclusively discuss national or world issues that they feel passionate about.
We shall be posting the “LEFT JAB” AND “MIDDLE JAB” AND “RIGHT JAB” several times a week.  Oh, “LEFT JAB” is a liberal view, “MIDDLE JAB” is the libertarian view and the “RIGHT JAB is representative of the more conservative views. Also, any reader who would like to react to the written comments in this column is free to do so.

  5. Now Cuomo blames nursing homes for COVID-19 deaths: They shouldn’t have obeyed my order

    Maybe Andrew Cuomo is cut out to be a Democratic president after all. He certainly shares Barack Obama’s passion for shifting blame when something he does goes south.

    Just look at Cuomo’s record of responses to his ill-fated executive order directing nursing homes to accept patients who had tested positive for COVID-19. He has tried to rationalize the 5,000 deaths that have resulted by stating that people in nursing homes are going to die of COVID “despite whatever [sic] you do.” When that explanation didn’t fly, he intimated that he was simply following Donald Trump’s orders, despite the president’s never having advocated any such thing. He even tried bleachbitting the New York State Health Department website of his order.

    No matter what he does, he doesn’t seem to be able to wash off the blood on his hands. So he has tried a new tack. It is his assertion now that the nursing homes themselves are at fault for following his order…

    The only problem with this latest attempt at blame-shifting is that the governor’s own words are out there as part of the public record for anyone who cares to read them. On Apr. 25, several weeks after the order was implemented, NBC News reported:

    … [I]n New York, the controversy over the mandate has escalated as the virus has battered hospitals and nursing homes alike. … A broad swath of nursing homes across the state have already accepted COVID-positive hospital patients in compliance with the mandate, and Gov. Andrew Cuomo has openly criticized facilities for opposing it.

    “They don’t have a right to object. That is the rule and that is the regulation, and they have to comply with that,” Cuomo, a Democrat, said in a Thursday news conference…..

    A stark admission to avoid culpability took place.

    A court decision came in with a pure document-dump timing this past weekend. On Friday a judge dismissed a lawsuit brought against MSNBC personality Rachel Maddow by the upstart network One America News, and most in journalism circles probably shrugged with smug satisfaction, if they even noticed during the news vacuum on a holiday weekend.

    The $10 million suit was a defamation case, where OAN stated that Maddow had slandered the network on-air when she declared it was an outlet of ‘’paid Russian propaganda’’. What has not been properly acknowledged is that in order for her to evade responsibility in the case Maddow took on the defense that she was not delivering fact-based news on her program that evening, something the judge agreed was accurate…

    Judge Cynthia Bashant wrote in her decision, “For her (Maddow) to exaggerate the facts and call OAN Russian propaganda was consistent with her tone up to that point.’’ Of note here is that it is left to the viewer to make the assumption when Maddow is no longer delivering serious news and information. ‘’The Court finds a reasonable viewer would not take the statement as factual given this context,” Bashant added, essentially acknowledging the ‘’fake-news’’ aspect of the Maddow broadcast…

    Here lies the real humor in this decision. In the process of denigrating OAN as an illegitimate news source, Rachael Maddow had to rest on the defense that what she was delivering was itself illegitimate ‘’infotainment’’. By her own admission, the primetime hostess has declared her own words to be little more than sparkly storytelling. While the network has appealed the decision, in a manner OAN has won a victory.

    It managed to get Rachael Maddow to declare in court records that she is a fabulist whose reporting does not need to be taken as the least bit accurate. It is not to be taken lightly when a major name in the media universe has gone on the record to declare what she traffics in on the air is fake news.

    The most compelling argument, the journal said, is how hydroxycholoroquine plus azithromycin reduces the rate of mortality.

    Below are the percentages of doctors prescribing the hydroxychloroquine plus azithromycin regimen to COVID-19 patients across the globe:

    49% in Italy;
    41% in Brazil;
    39% in Mexico;

    23% in the US;

    13% in the UK;

    And at four New York hospitals, a recent study found that adding zinc sulfate with hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin significantly cuts both the need for intubation and mortality risks by half, researchers said…..

  10. Gunshot fired into Republican field office during local Trump campaign event, RNC says

    …“Last night, another group of President Donald Trump supporters appeared to be targeted when a gun shot was fired into a clearly-marked local Republican office while they were inside hosting an event,” Trump Victory spokesman Rick Gorka told Fox News. “Thankfully no one was hurt.”

    He added: “This pattern of violence against our volunteers is sickening.”

    FLORIDA MAN ACCUSED OF DRIVING VAN INTO TRUMP-SUPPORTERS’ TENT REPORTEDLY SMILES WHILE ENTERING COURT

    The incident follows other violence against Trump supporters. In February, a New Hampshire man was arrested after allegedly assaulting a 15-year-old Trump supporter and two adults at a polling site during the state’s first-in-the-nation primary.

    The man, Patrick Bradley, 34, of Windham, was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.

    Fox News first reported that the suspect got in the face of the teenage boy who was wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat and volunteering at the Trump tent at Windham High School, a polling location for the New Hampshire primary.

    Also, earlier this year, in a separate incident, a Florida man, Gregory Timm, 27, was accused of ramming his van into a Republican Party voter registration tent.

    An arrest report said Timm told deputies he did not like Trump and “someone had to take a stand.”

  12. MN Democrat Prosecutor’s Bizarre, Sloppy ‘Evidence’ Statement Whips up More Chaos

    Hennepin County Prosecutor Mike Freeman (a Democrat) claimed he had evidence that did not support a criminal charge against the police officer allegedly responsible for George Floyd’s death. He now says he was misinterpreted.

    The Democrats who run the great state of Minnesota, and most especially the city of Minneapolis, seem determined to watch everything burn down. How else to explain the dumbest and most counterproductive thing that could be said in these circumstances emanating from the mouth of Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman — a Democrat.

    As we all now know, George Floyd almost certainly died at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin who refused to take his knee off of Floyd’s neck — his neck. Even though Floyd was handcuffed, even though Floyd had not resisted while being handcuffed, even though there were three other officers at the scene, even though a police cruiser was right there to hold Floyd, the officer refused to release his knee from Floyd’s neck — even after Floyd said he couldn’t breathe, even after his body went limp.

    No one is defending the video. No one is defending the police officer…

    And so, in yet another Democrat-run city (just like Ferguson and Baltimore) the rioting has begun.

    The governor of Minnesota, a feckless Democrat named Tim Walz, and the feckles mayor of Minneapolis, a Democrat named Jacob Frey, are so feckless, they allowed (along with a number of other buildings) a police station — an actual police station — in Minneapolis to be burnt to the ground Thursday night.

    But nothing topped good ole’ Mike Freeman, who made a public statement Thursday afternoon suggesting there was some secret evidence that might exonerate the police officer…

    So the day after the rioting began, the County Attorney, whose job it is to charge the cop in question with murder, and the three other cops with some form of depraved indifference, comes out and announces — this is a direct quote: “that there’s other evidence that does not support a criminal charge.”

    But — and keep in mind his city is a tinderbox right now — he doesn’t tell us what this amazing evidence is, this evidence that would somehow justify a police officer using his knee to pin down a man’s neck until the man passed out and died…

    This idiot now says he was misinterpreted when he said he’d seen evidence “that does not support a criminal charge,” and this idiot waited until after another night of rioting had begun to finally admit that.

    “In a news conference today, Hennepin County Attorney, Mike Freeman, made a comment about evidence in the George Floyd Case that’s being misinterpreted,” the statement reads. “To clarify, …Freeman is saying that it is critical to review all the evidence because at the time of trial, invariably, all that information will be used.”

    Freeman’s statement, of course, is a total lie. No one is misinterpreting what Freeman said. He clearly said “there’s other evidence that does not support a criminal charge.” Those are his words, which made it sound as though Chauvin would be back patrolling the streets Monday morning.

    Minneapolis hasn’t had a Republican mayor in almost 50 years.

In the new angle, you can see that it’s not just one officer who had a knee pressing into the man, but three. At no point does he appear to be resisting, though you can hear him trying to tell them he can’t breathe.
