Philip Lawrence comes home to perform on Philip Lawrence Day!

d082c5901d9a11e3893622000a1fcd0b_7Evansville native, Philip Lawrence came home to Evansville to host his first solo performance at Victory Theatre. A Memorial alumni, Philip is not shy to the stage as he cowrote material and performed with Bruno Mars.

Philip debuted his song “Letters I Never Sent” among selected songs that he cowrote for Mars. Opening the show, the

Lawrence family all gathered on stage and sang the well known Sister Sledge song, “We Are Family.” The Browne Sisters, Philip’s cousins, and The Lawrence’s, Philip’s siblings and uncle, were the show openers and they showcased their entire family’s musical talents.

“We want to express our gratitude to Philip Lawrence for choosing Victory Theatre as his first solo performance,” said

General Manager Ben Bolander. “It has been a pleasure working with the Lawrence’s and we look forward to following Philip’s undoubtable succes in his future.”
