Godfrey Egwu Jr. (32) was found Guilty in Vanderburgh Superior Court in Dealing Methamphetamine – B Felony and Conspiracy to Commit Dealing in Methamphetamine – B Felony late Wednesday afternoon.
Judge Robert Pigman will sentence Egwu on October 4. Egwu is facing between 6-20 years on both counts.
Egwu was arrested last March after a Pseudoephedrine detail observed the Conspiracy to Commit Dealing In Methamphetamine at a Pharmacy in Evansville. Egwu had been paying other parties to buy him Psuedoephedrine (a key ingredient in Methamphetamine,) a process also known as smurfing.
