NOTICE OF CANCELLATIONÂ OF SPECIALÂ MEETING OF THEÂ COMMON COUNCIL
The special meeting of the Common Council of the City of Evansville, Indiana that was scheduled for Monday, July 29, 2013, at 4:00 p.m. in Room 301 of the Civic Center has been cancelled.
The purpose of this meeting was to review and discuss the McGladrey Reports. This meeting may be rescheduled for a later date.
It  is being alleged that members of City Council is asking the Mayor to provide them with additional information concerning the April 8, 2013 It Assessment report done by MCGladley.  A  deadline was set today at  9:00 a. m. by City Council requesting the Mayor to provide them with additional information concerning this report.  Because the Mayor failed to present the requested It Report of April 8, 2013 by the requested deadline City Council cancelled this afternoon meeting.
Word is that the Mayor and City Council are about to do public battle over the way that the April 8, 2013 was handled by the Mayors office. Â This is a major political developing story and the CCO shall keep you posted as warrented.
Here we go again. Looks like another Winnenke back room political deal cover up.
Give him hell City Council.
Force him into public discussion on this issue so he shall be held accountable once and for all.
Looks like another “Homestead Tax Credit” coverup deal in the making.
I hope the City Council gives him hell about this. But my bet is – he’ll win – – every time! Pitiful. Hope I’m wrong.
Who sought and paid for the McGladrey report? If it was the City Council, what is the Mayor doing getting a first hand copy? Council members, stand up to this absurdety, call the Mayors hand, then censure him or impeach him.
Council don’t have the balls or guts to stand up to the Mayor.They are too interested in protecting their political jobs. Too bad!!!
