OBITUARY OF NORMA DENEKE

Norma Deneke, age 77, of Elberfeld, IN, passed away at 8:13 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.
Norma was born November 10, 1941, in Jamaica, NY, to Wilhelm and Anna Marie (Wagner) Schnoor. She was the owner and operator of both “The Charm Room†where she worked as a beautician and “Norma’s Clay Corner†where she taught clay and ceramic classes. Norma was employed with Mark Henry as a manager and also provided personal fashion consulting.
Norma is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, William E. “Bill†Deneke; daughters, Theresa “Teri†Conley and Jennifer Tillmanns (Gery); sons, Bill Deneke, Michael “Mike†Deneke and Tim Spangler; grandchildren, Elizabeth Scales (Adam), Angel Jackson (LB), Aschyr Conley (Taylor), Keenan Deneke and Jesse Deneke; and 4 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Cheryl Deneke; and brother, Roy W. Schnoor.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastors Bob Simpkins and David Schulz, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Zion UCC Cemetery in Elberfeld, IN.
Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2019 and from 9:30 a.m. until time of service, Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
