There will be a 10:30 press conference at EPD Headquarters. The press conference will address a Facebook post that alleges misconduct by an EPD officer during an arrest at Haynie’s Corner just after Midnight on Sunday morning.
The city wants a renaissance of arts and music in historic downtown. No they don’t. Yes they do. Which round are we on now? I’ll just bet there’s never a budlight-drinking monster trucker who’s put face down in the parking lot after an event. Disappointing at best.
Have you learned nothing of PD protocol in all your recent years? If there’s a need for a press conference; there’s a public relations fire to put out. If there’s a fire to put out; someone screwed up, big time. Why would the EPD need to defend a just act? But yeah, a names a name, I bet the mattingly family barely tolerates this unwanted addition to their family during the holidays.
