“Right Jab And Left Jab” was created because we have two commenters that post on a daily basis either in our “IS IT TRUE” or “Readers Forum” columns concerning National or International issues.
Joe Biden and Ronald Reagan’s comments are mostly about issues of national interest.  The majority of our “IS IT TRUE” columns are about local or state issues, so we have decided to give Mr. Biden and Mr. Reagan exclusive access to our newly created “LEFT JAB and RIGHT JAB”  column. They now have this post to exclusively discuss national or world issues that they feel passionate about.
We shall be posting the “LEFT JAB” AND “RIGHT JAB” several times a week.  Oh, “Left Jab” is a liberal view and the “Right Jab is representative of the more conservative views. Also, any reader who would like to react to the written comments of the two gentlemen is free to do so.

    Human Smugglers Throw Two Disabled Migrants into Border River, Say Feds

    A Del Rio Sector BORSTAR team observed a group of 12 migrants crossing the Rio Grande near Eagle Pass, Texas. The agents say the smugglers carried one of the migrants, a double amputee, to the riverbank and threw him into the water. The man immediately began having trouble staying afloat, according to Del Rio Sector officials.

    While the agents pulled the distressed migrant toward the safety of the U.S. side of the river, the agents observed the smugglers carrying another migrant, this one a paraplegic, to the riverbank. The smugglers threw the migrant into the river and he almost immediately began to drown, officials stated. Agents already in the water swam to the distressed migrant while other agents still on the ground jumped in and completed the rescue of the first migrant.

        Attorney General Bill Barr is unfazed by the unhinged attacks on his character from desperate Democrats, and he is willing to take the heat in order to clean up what he feels are corrupt practices within the U.S. justice system.

        He appeared on CBS News for an interview where he explained why he emerged from private life for a second stint as AG nearly thirty years after serving under President George H.W. Bush.

        “I am at the end of my career,” Barr said. “Everyone dies and I am not, you know, I don’t believe in the Homeric idea that you know, immortality comes by, you know, having odes sung about you over the centuries, you know?”

        Barr understood it would be inevitable that he would be attacked due to the “hyper-partisan period of time” in our national politics. Barr maintains that he will continue “behaving responsibly and calling them as [he] see[s] them” despite the fact that “nowadays, people don’t care about the merits and the substance.”

        “They only care about who it helps, who benefits, whether my side benefits or the other side benefits, everything is gauged by politics,” Barr said.

        “And as I say that’s antithetical to the way the department runs and any attorney general in this period is going to end up losing a lot of political capital and I realize that and that’s one of the reasons that I ultimately was persuaded that I should take it on because I think at my stage in life, it really doesn’t make any difference,” he added.

        Barr has no regrets taking the job despite the position’s headaches. He feels that his leadership is needed during these troubled times because public trust needs to be restored in the justice system now that FBI spook Robert Mueller’s special counsel has concluded.

        “In many ways, I’d rather be back in my old life but I think that I love the Department of Justice, I love the FBI, I think it is important that we not, in this period of intense partisan feeling, destroy our institutions,” Barr said.

  3. You asked for it, liberals. Now, you own it! Women’s NCAA 400-meter track champion is really fast…. because she’s a man!

    ….Now, biological men, masquerading as transgenders, have begun to dominate women’s sports. It is only the beginning. Look for many more men, identifying as women, as liberals have paved the way for them to do, dominating female athletic competitions. Could this end women’s sports as we know it?

    Most recently, Cece Telfer, pictured above, a man identifying as a woman, became the women’s NCAA 400-meter champion, blowing away the field of biologically female competitors.

    Is this payback for Title IX? I foresee many high school males now identifying as women to obtain college athletic scholarships. According to the world liberals have engineered, they should get them.

    Liberals never learn. They can never leave well enough alone. As we were instructed in a 1970s margarine commercial, “It’s not nice to fool Mother Nature!”

    The Latest Mass Shooting Doesn’t Fit CNN’s Typical Narrative

    On Friday, June 1, 2019, a gunman killed twelve people and wounded six at a Virginia Beach municipal center.

    The shooter, was an African American male by the name of Dwayne Craddock who was a “longtime public utilities employee.”….

    From the looks of it, the Virginia Beach shooting does not fit the media’s ongoing narrative, thus it will not receive much coverage like other shootings.

    While speaking at the California Democratic Party convention, Hickenlooper told the San Fransisco crowd that if Democrats want to defeat President Donald Trump in 2020, they will need traditional Democratic values in their corner — not socialism.

    “If we want to beat Donald Trump and achieve big progressive goals, socialism is not the answer,” Hickenlooper said.

    NYC Mayor de Blasio Blames Staff for Missing 9/11 Memorial Ceremony

    New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio on Friday blamed his absence at a 9/11 memorial ceremony on his staff not letting him know about the event.

    The solemn dedication ceremony honoring those who died from toxic exposure at ground zero after the September 11th terrorist attacks took place Thursday morning at the 9/11 Memorial Glade at Liberty and West streets. Both de Blasio, who is running a long shot campaign for president, and Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo (N.Y.) were absent from the ceremony, according to the New York Post.

    Illegal Aliens Get Minimum Sentences for Killing Couple, Raping 12-Year-Old

    Two illegal aliens received prison sentences of 12 to 2o years, one for killing a young couple in a sanctuary city and another for raping a 12-year-old girl.

    The Angel Family of 34-year-old Logan Wilson and his wife 32-year-old Jessica Wilson is outraged after an illegal alien was sentenced to just 12 years in prison after killing the young couple in a drunk driving crash in August 2018 in the sanctuary city of Marion County, Oregon….

    Valentin Ariosto Alfonso-Arguello, a 38-year-old illegal alien, received just 20 years in prison with eight years suspended for coercing a 12-year-old girl into giving him her phone number, then raping her in his truck after getting off work.

    After his release, Alfonso-Arguello is expected to be turned over to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency and deported.

    In 2018, ICE agents arrested more than 1,640 illegal aliens convicted of murder, nearly 5,000 convicted of child sex abuse, and more than 54,600 who were convicted of drunk driving, Breitbart News reported. The vast majority of illegal aliens living across the United States, of which there are 11 to 22 million, are never deported.

  10. DNA analysis confirms that the blood of 20-year-old college student Mollie Tibbetts was in the trunk of illegal alien Cristhian Bahena-Rivera’s car, according to prosecutors.

    In August 2018, Bahena-Rivera, an illegal alien from Mexico, was charged with Tibbetts’ murder after police said he admitted to confronting and chasing down the young woman. After a nationwide search, Tibbetts’ body was found in a cornfield in Poweshiek County, Iowa. The illegal alien lived in a region of Iowa that was surrounded by sanctuary cities, as Breitbart News noted, and worked on a dairy farm using a stolen ID and Social Security card after allegedly crossing the U.S.-Mexico border as a child.

      Tibbetts’ family has strongly rejected attempts to politicize her killing by whipping up anti-immigrant sentiment, as well as those who have exploited it, including Trump. Tibbetts father demanded in a September op-ed that politicians “not appropriate Mollie’s soul in advancing views she believed were profoundly racist”

    Trump Transition Official Indicted For Child Pornography After Being A Witness In Mueller Probe

    Washington – George Aref Nader, who was a witness in special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation, was arrested on child pornography charges Monday in New York, federal prosecutors announced Monday. Nader was arrested upon arrival at John F. Kennedy International Airport for “transporting visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct”

    He previously pleaded guilty to the same charge in 1991, the Justice Department said. If convicted, he faces a minimum sentence of 15 years in prison and a maximum of 40 years. The Mueller report mentions Nader in nearly four dozen footnotes, including references to his interviews with special counsel investigators, and other materials, like his emails and text messages

    Prosecutors filed a secret criminal complaint against Nader on January 17, 2018, according to the Justice Department. CNN previously reported that Nader was questioned by the FBI on that date, the first of several sessions with investigators from Mueller’s office

    Investigators seized electronic devices from Nader that same day and had a warrant to search his luggage, according to the Justice Department. The warrants were issued in relation to a “matter unrelated to child pornography,” according to the FBI

    According to an FBI affidavit filed in support of the criminal complaint, the FBI found a dozen graphic pornographic videos of young boys on one of his iPhones

    Nader is cited extensively in the portions of the report about the Seychelles meeting in between Trump supporter Erik Prince and a Russian banker with close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin. His testimony about his role in the secret January 2017 liaison undercut Prince’s claims that the meeting was a random encounter and that it was not coordinated with anyone from the Trump transition

  12. Day 862: A Colossal Blunder

    1/ Trump threatened to impose a 5% tariff on all Mexican goods unless the country stops all “illegal migrants coming through Mexico,” linking his immigration policy to trade. The tariffs would begin on June 10th and “gradually increase” to 10% on July 1st, followed by an additional 5% each month for the next three months. Tariffs would remain at 25% “if the crisis persists.” The National Foreign Trade Council called the move “a colossal blunder,” as U.S. companies pay the import penalties and pass some costs along to consumers. The White House defended the legality of the move, saying Trump was acting under the powers granted to him by the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, which gives the president broad power to take action to address any “unusual or extraordinary threat.” (Washington Post / New York Times / The Guardian / Reuters)

    2/ Republicans warned Trump that imposing tariffs on all Mexican imports could upend the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement and undermine the economy. Senate Finance Chairman Chuck Grassley called the move “a misuse of presidential tariff authority and contrary to congressional intent,” adding that implementing the tariffs would “seriously jeopardize passage” of the USMCA. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, meanwhile, blamed Congress for refusing to deal with problems at the border, saying if they “were stepping up and doing more the president wouldn’t have to continue to look for ways to stop this problem on his own.” (Politico / Washington Post)

    The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and business groups are considering suing the White Hose over Trump’s new tariffs on Mexico. The tariff threat was reportedly “hurried out the door” in order to appease Trump, who did not consult business groups or federal agencies in advance. A 5% tariff on imported goods from Mexico would result in a potential tax increase on American businesses and consumers by about $17 billion.     3/ Trump’s Treasury secretary and top trade advisor both opposed the plan to impose tariffs on Mexico. Steve Mnuchin and Robert Lighthizer have stressed the importance of enacting USMCA, meant to replace the North American Free Trade Agreement, and argued that the tariffs could derail ratification of the deal in Congress. “Lighthizer is not happy,” an unnamed administration official said.     4/ The Department of Homeland Security’s Inspector General found “dangerous overcrowding” and unsanitary conditions at a Border Patrol processing facility following an unannounced inspection. The IG found “standing room only conditions” at the El Paso Del Norte Processing Center with “approximately 750 and 900 detainees.” The facility has a maximum capacity of 125 migrants. (CNN)

    About half of the nearly 2,000 unaccompanied migrant children held in overcrowded Border Patrol facilities have been there beyond the legally allowed time limits. Federal law and court orders require that children in Border Patrol custody be transferred within 72 hours after being apprehended. Some unaccompanied children are spending more than a week in Border Patrol stations and processing centers and children 12 or younger have been in custody for an average of six days.     5/ Trump is considering a proposal to enact restrictions on asylum claims that would deny Central American migrants from entering the U.S. The draft proposal would prevent migrants from seeking asylum if they lived in another country after leaving their home country and coming to the U.S., which would impact thousand of migrants who have been waiting on the other side of the border after traveling through Mexico.     6/ House Republicans blocked the $19.1 billion disaster aid package for a third time. The long-delayed bill, which has Trump’s support, was blocked by Tennessee Rep. John Rose. Rose called the legislation “another act of irresponsible big government.” (Washington Post)

    7/ North Korea executed its former top nuclear envoy to the U.S. and four other foreign ministry officials by firing squad after negotiations stalled between Kim Jong Un and Trump. The February summit collapsed after Trump called off the talks. Kim Hyok Chol, who led the working-level negotiations, was executed in March along with four other officials.
