“LEFT JAB AND RIGHT JABâ€
“Right Jab And Left Jab†was created because we have two commenters that post on a daily basis either in our “IS IT TRUE†or “Readers Forum†columns concerning National or International issues.
Joe Biden and Ronald Reagan’s comments are mostly about issues of national interest.  The majority of our “IS IT TRUE†columns are about local or state issues, so we have decided to give Mr. Biden and Mr. Reagan exclusive access to our newly created “LEFT JAB and RIGHT JAB† column. They now have this post to exclusively discuss national or world issues that they feel passionate about.
We shall be posting the “LEFT JAB†AND “RIGHT JABâ€Â several times a week.  Oh, “Left Jab†is a liberal view and the “Right Jab is representative of the more conservative views. Also, any reader who would like to react to the written comments of the two gentlemen is free to do so.

ICE Agent: Migrants Trade Children to Get Smuggling Discounts from Coyotes
Coyotes are giving smuggling discounts to migrant parents who lend their young children to other migrants at the border, says a report by the Center for Immigration Studies.
“The child, real parent, unrelated adult client, and smuggler often make the trip together,†said the report by Todd Bensman, a former manager at the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Intelligence and Counterterrorism Division.â€Only at the border is the child and bogus birth certificate given over to the paying migrant, who is expected to return the child days or weeks later once everyone is inside the United States,†he said….
The child-trading is made profitable by Congress’ refusal to fix the 2015 Flores Catch-and-Release loophole. The policy bars the detention of adults for more than 20 days, so the migrants and the cartel-tied coyotes have an incentive to bring and share many children so every migrant can get a child and walk through border fences via the Flores loophole….
Nearly 169,000 youths have surrendered at the southern border in the first seven months of this fiscal year, and more than half are ages 12 and under, according to federal records and officials familiar with Customs and Border Protection statistics. Minors now account for nearly 37 percent of all crossings — far above previous eras, when most underage migrants were teenagers and accounted for 10 percent to 20 percent of all crossings.

Day 859: “False narrative”
Subscribe for free: Apple Podcast, Spotify, Google Play Music, RSS
1/ Robert Mueller reportedly drafted a three-count obstruction of justice indictment against Trump before deciding to shelve it. In his new book, Siege: Trump Under Fire, Michael Wolff writes that his findings on the Mueller investigation are “based on internal documents given to me by sources close to the Office of the Special Counsel.” According to Wolff, the first count charged Trump with influencing, obstructing or impeding a pending proceeding before a department or agency of the U.S. The second count charged Trump with tampering with a witness, victim or informant, and the third count charged Trump with retaliating against a witness, victim or informant. While the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel says a sitting president cannot be indicted, Wolff obtained a draft memorandum by Mueller’s team opposing an expected motion to dismiss the indictment. The special counsel’s office denied the claim, saying “The documents that you’ve described do not exist.” (The Guardian / NBC News)
Michael Flynn’s case could prompt the release of some redacted portions of the Mueller report this week. Judge Emmet Sullivan set a Friday deadline for the Justice Department to make unredacted parts of the report that pertain to Flynn public, as well as transcripts of Flynn’s calls with former Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak, and of a voicemail during which someone connected to Trump referenced Flynn’s cooperation. (CNN)
2/ A congressional Republican accused Attorney General Bill Barr of intentionally misrepresenting the Mueller report to further Trump’s “false narrative” about the investigation. In a 25-post tweetstorm, Rep. Justin Amash alleged that Barr’s March 24th letter summarizing Mueller’s principal conclusions “selectively quotes and summarizes points in Mueller’s report in misleading ways” and as a result “the public and Congress were misled.” (Politico / Washington Post / Axios)
📌 Day 851: Michigan Rep. Justin Amash became the first Republican lawmaker to publicly conclude that Trump has committed “impeachable conduct” as president, and that Trump’s conduct meets the “threshold for impeachment.” In a Twitter thread, Amash said he believes “few members of Congress even read” Mueller’s final report, and said the report establishes “multiple examples” of Trump committing obstruction of justice. Amash also accused Attorney General William Barr of intentionally misleading the public. “Contrary to Barr’s portrayal,” Amash wrote, “Mueller’s report reveals that President Trump engaged in specific actions and a pattern of behavior that meet the threshold for impeachment.” (CNN / Washington Post)
Republican senators vowed to quash impeachment against Trump if the House passes articles. Mitch McConnell is required to act on articles of impeachment, but has broad authority to set the parameters of a trial. (The Hill)
3/ The top Democrat on the Senate intelligence committee accused Trump of giving Barr “the right to selectively declassify certain information for purposes of political gain.” Sen. Mark Warner asked that the leaders of the nation’s spy agencies contact lawmakers if Barr’s investigation threatens their work. Last week, Trump gave Barr the power to release classified information related the origins of the FBI’s Russia investigation. Trump directed the intelligence community to “quickly and fully cooperate.” (Associated Press / Washington Post)
📌 Day 855: Trump gave Attorney General William Barr “full and complete authority” to unilaterally declassify government secrets and ordered U.S. intelligence agencies to cooperate with Barr’s audit of the Russia investigation. Trump wants Barr to investigate the origins of the Russia investigation and the tactics used by investigators. Trump issued the order just hours after accusing the people who led the investigation of committing treason. Barr has personally met with the heads of U.S. intelligence agencies to discuss his review of the probe. Barr has also said that he believes the Trump campaign was “spied” on. (New York Times / Washington Post / NBC News / CNN)
4/ Trump denied that North Korea fired any ballistic missiles or violated the United Nations Security Council resolutions, siding with Kim Jong Un over his national security adviser and Japan’s prime minister, Shinzo Abe. Trump said that while “North Korea fired off some small weapons, which disturbed some of my people,” he was not “personally” bothered by the missile tests this month. “My people think it could have been a violation,” Trump said. “I view it differently.” Trump’s comments contradicted John Bolton, who had said there was “no doubt” that North Korea had violated the Security Council resolutions by firing short-range ballistic missiles. In response, North Korea called Bolton a “war monger,” a “war maniac,” and a “human defect,” who has a “different mental structure from ordinary people.” Trump praised Kim as a “very smart man.” (Washington Post / New York Times / Associated Press / NBC News)
📌 Day 841: North Korea’s three new missiles have “Russian technology fingerprints all over” them, military experts said. The missiles reportedly bear a resemblance to the Russian-designed Iskander – a short-range, nuclear-capable ballistic missile that has been in the Russian arsenal for more than a decade. (Associated Press)
Trump called Joe Biden a “fool of low I.Q.” for calling Kim a dictator and a tyrant. “Kim Jong Un made a statement that Joe Biden is a low IQ individual,” Trump said. “He probably is based on his record. I think I agree with him on that.” Trump and Kim “agree in their assessment” of Biden, Sarah Huckabee Sanders said. (ABC News / The Hill / New York Times)
5/ Trump claimed a national security “emergency” in order to authorize a multibillion-dollar sale of arms to Saudi Arabia, which bypassed congressional review. The decision to sell over $8 billion worth of weapons to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan drew condemnation from lawmakers on both sides of the aisle, who had been blocking the sales of offensive military equipment to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates for months. Iran views Saudi Arabia as its main rival. Trump added: “I don’t think Iran wants to fight, and I certainly don’t think they want to fight with us.” (NBC News / Washington Post / New York Times / Reuters)
Trump denied that the U.S. is “looking for regime change” in Iran, saying “we’re looking for no nuclear weapons.” Last Friday, Trump ordered “a small number of troops” — about 1,500 — as well as fighter jets to the region. (Washington Post)
Iran said it sees no prospect for negotiations with the U.S. a day after Trump said it would be “very smart” of Iran to make a deal regarding its nuclear program. (Reuters)
Mike Pence told a group of West Point graduates that it is a “virtual certainty” that they will see combat. “You will lead soldiers in combat,” Pence told the 980 graduating cadets. “It will happen. Some of you may even be called upon to serve in this hemisphere.” (CBS News)
6/ A federal judge temporarily blocked Trump from diverting $1 billion in Defense Department funds to build parts of his U.S.-Mexico border wall. Trump made an emergency declaration earlier this year to circumvent Congress and reallocate funding from the Defense Department to begin work on the wall. In a 56-page ruling, Judge Haywood Gilliam said Trump couldn’t use the funds without congressional approval. The ruling, however, does not prevent the Trump administration from using funds from other sources to build walls or fencing. (The Hill / NPR / CNN)
A group that raised more than $20 million in donations on GoFundMe claimed it started building its own border wall on private property. The half-mile stretch of private wall will connect two 21-mile sections of existing fencing. (CNN)
Notables
House Republicans blocked an attempt to pass a bipartisan disaster aid package for a second time. The move delays $19 billion in emergency relief for states hit by hurricanes, wildfires and flooding. Republicans complained that the bill ignores Trump’s request for funding for operations along the U.S.-Mexico border. (Politico / Washington Post / Reuters)
Trump’s lawyers reached an agreement with the House Intelligence and Financial Services committees to not enforce the subpoenas to Deutsche Bank and Capital One for Trump’s financial records for now. In April, Trump sued Deutsche Bank and Capital One to prevent them from supplying information to congressional investigators. According to the filing, “the parties have reached an agreement regarding compliance with and enforcement of the subpoenas during the pendency of Plaintiffs’ appeal.” (USA Today / CNN / Bloomberg)
A $1 million donation to Trump’s inaugural committee is being scrutinized by federal prosecutors in New York who are investigating the committee’s finances. Real estate mogul Franklin Haney made the donation seeking regulatory approval and financial support from the government for his bid to acquire the Bellefonte Nuclear Power Plant in Alabama. Trump’s transportation secretary still owns shares in a company more than a year after promising to divest them. Elaine Chao owns nearly $400,000 of stock in Vulcan Materials Co., a major supplier of materials for road pavement and other construction projects. Robert Mueller Reiterates Investigation DID NOT Exonerate Trump, Points To Impeachment
WASHINGTON ― Robert Mueller on Wednesday encouraged Americans to read his special counsel report on Russian interference in the 2016 election and reiterated his office’s position that, while Trump could not be charged with a crime while in office, that doesn’t amount to an exoneration
“If we had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said that” Mueller said at a press conference at Justice Department headquarters
Mueller’s remarks alluded to impeachment saying that the Constitution “requires a process other than the criminal justice system to formally accuse a sitting president of wrongdoingâ€
Mueller’s investigation did not find clear evidence to charge members of the Trump campaign with conspiring with Russian operatives to sway the election. Mueller chose not to reach a traditional prosecutorial decision on obstruction of justice, but he outlined 10 instances of potential obstruction by the president during the probe
Mueller ended his remarks by emphasizing that the Russian government did interfere in the 2016 election
“I will close by reiterating the central allegation of our indictments, that there were multiple, systematic efforts to interfere in our election. That allegation deserves the attention of every Americanâ€

Fox’s Hannity Is No. 1 In May Cable News Ratings; MSNBC’s Maddow Has Worst Month Since Trump Inauguration
… In all, Fox News had 10 of the 15 top-rated shows in cable news as the network posted its 209th first-place finish according to ratings data compiled by Nielsen.
MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, meanwhile, posted its lowest-rated month since Donald Trump took office, finishing May in third place overall with a total audience of 2.61 million viewers. Maddow’s MSNBC colleagues Lawrence O’Donnell and Chris Hayes also finished in the top ten overall, with O’Donnell’s The Last Word drawing 2 million total viewers (6th place overall), and Hayes’ All In reaching 1.6 million viewers (9th place overall).
Alan Dershowitz: ‘Shame on Mueller,’ He ‘Has Revealed His Partisan Bias’
The statement by special counsel Robert Mueller in a Wednesday press conference that “if we had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said that†is worse than the statement made by then-FBI Director James Comey regarding Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential campaign. Comey declared in a July 2016 press conference that “although we did not find clear evidence that Secretary Clinton or her colleagues intended to violate laws governing the handling of classified information, there is evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information.
Until today, I have defended Mueller against the accusations that he is a partisan. I did not believe that he personally favored either the Democrats or the Republicans, or had a point of view on whether President Trump should be impeached. But I have now changed my mind. By putting his thumb, indeed his elbow, on the scale of justice in favor of impeachment based on obstruction of justice, Mueller has revealed his partisan bias. He also has distorted the critical role of a prosecutor in our justice system.
Virtually everybody agrees that, in the normal case, a prosecutor should never go beyond publicly disclosing that there is insufficient evidence to indict. No responsible prosecutor should ever suggest that the subject of his investigation might indeed be guilty even if there was insufficient evidence or other reasons not to indict. Supporters of Mueller will argue that this is not an ordinary case, that he is not an ordinary prosecutor and that President Trump is not an ordinary subject of an investigation. They are wrong. The rules should not be any different.
Remember that federal investigations by prosecutors, including special counsels, are by their very nature one-sided. They hear only evidence of guilt and not exculpatory evidence. Their witnesses are not subject to the adversarial process. There is no cross examination. The evidence is taken in secret behind the closed doors of a grand jury. For that very reason, prosecutors can only conclude whether there is sufficient evidence to commence a prosecution. They are not in a position to decide whether the subject of the investigation is guilty or is innocent of any crimes.
That determination of guilt or innocence requires a full adversarial trial with a zealous defense attorney, vigorous cross examination, exclusionary rules of evidence and other due process safeguards. Such safeguards were not present in this investigation, and so the suggestion by Mueller that Trump might well be guilty deserves no credence. His statement, so inconsistent with his long history, will be used to partisan advantage by Democrats, especially all those radicals who are seeking impeachment.
No prosecutor should ever say or do anything for the purpose of helping one party or the other. I cannot imagine a plausible reason why Mueller went beyond his report and gratuitously suggested that President Trump might be guilty, except to help Democrats in Congress and to encourage impeachment talk and action. Shame on Mueller for abusing his position of trust and for allowing himself to be used for such partisan advantage.

Obama’s Corrupt FBI: Agent Took Gifts from Media in Exchange for Leaked Info
Another corrupt member of Obama’s crooked FBI has been uncovered by an investigation by the inspector general’s office for accepting bribes to leaking official information.
According to a Wednesday release of a DOJ inspector general’s report, a former FBI deputy assistant director accepted tickets to a media-sponsored event and provided sensitive information to media source “multiple times.â€
The former FBI man also “had dozens of official contacts with the media.
The inspector general reportedly found dozens of corrupt Obama FBI men who were having daily contact with the media.

Mueller Statement Makes It Clear: Trump Committed Crimes, And Impeachment Is The Only Option
Robert Mueller appeared for less than fifteen minutes on Wednesday morning to give a statement that included the announcement that his office’s investigation was complete, that he was resigning from his position as special counsel, and that the special counsel office was to be closed. But Mueller did not restrict himself to providing a hat tip to his staff, he recapped his office’s report and in the process emphasized the items that he thought were most important. In a way, this statement was Mueller’s own summary of the report
Mueller opened his statement by making it clear that Russia had conducted two separate operations—the hacking and distribution of stolen materials, and a social media campaign—not just for the purpose of interfering in the election, but also “to interfere with a presidential candidateâ€
When he moved on to discussing the report itself, Mueller critically did not use the word “collusion†or make any statement absolving Donald Trump or the Trump campaign
Then, moving on to obstruction, Mueller placed fresh emphasis on the actions that Trump took to interfere with the investigation saying “If we had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime we would have said so. We did not make a determination as to whether the president did commit a crime†because Mueller elaborated on the fact that he could not consider charges against Trump entirely because of DOJ policy against charging a sitting executive. Because of that policy “we could not consider†charging Trump
Mueller went out of his way to explain that the regulation prohibited him from indicting Trump, even if that indictment was not public or was under seal—which shows the lengths that the special counsel went in the search for a way to file an indictment. There would be no reason to mention any of this unless investigators had looked into the issues
Mueller then made a special point of saying that the Constitution provides a way to deal with Trump’s crimes “outside the Department of Justice†and while he may not have said the I-word, he could not have shouted it any louder
Mueller made absolutely clear in his statement that there was no exoneration in his report, not on either of the issues that were the core of the investigation
Mueller made his point by returning to information that is already in the report, but by pulling out the points that he wanted front and center. Mueller also emphasized that while he was forbidden from charging Trump, he could investigate Trump and preserve the evidence of his crimes while that evidence and memories of it were “freshâ€
Mueller closed by returning to the Russian interference at the heart of the investigation, insisting that there were “multiple systemic efforts†to interfere in our election, and that this “deserves the attention of every Americanâ€
Mueller made it VERY CLEAR that:
The purpose of the Russian effort was to harm Hillary Clinton
He could not indict “a broad conspiracy†though there were hundreds of contacts
Trump conducted multiple, serious efforts to obstruct the investigation
He could not indict Trump only because of DOJ rules
The special counsel looked at options to indict Trump in a nonpublic way
The Constitution provides a single way to deal with Trump’s crimes
All of this is important and deserves the attention of every American
Considering that this was an announcement made while Mueller is still a DOJ employee, from a DOJ stage, with the advance knowledge of Trump and William Barr, this is a direct, precise, and powerful push back
Mueller might not have been allowed to indict. But this was an indictment—and an absolute call for impeachment

Top Obama officials aid Chinese firm targeted by Trump order
Two former top Obama administration officials are working on behalf of Huawei, even as the Chinese telecom giant faces a Trump administration that increasingly sees it as a threat to national security.
President Trump signed an executive order Wednesday likely aimed at limiting the influence of Huawei, ZTE, and other Chinese companies the U.S. intelligence community and law enforcement officials see as threats.
But Samir Jain, Obama’s senior director for cybersecurity policy for the National Security Council, registered as a lobbyist for Huawei in March 2019, and James Cole, who was Obama’s deputy attorney general from 2011 to 2015, has represented Huawei since 2017 as an attorney with law firm Sidley….
The U.S. is particularly concerned about the influence that Chinese-based companies such as Huawei could have on the cellular network technology known as 5G, which is poised to revolutionize internet speed, broadband access, and global communications. The U.S. government widely suspects that Huawei, a global leader in telecommunications and in 5G, is working hand-in-hand with the Chinese government and is giving China’s surveillance state access to hardware and to networks around the world.
The Justice Department has been increasing its scrutiny of China’s activities in recent years, launching a “China Initiative” in 2018 and charging an increased number of people in China-related espionage cases, cracking down on Chinese hackers, prosecuting Chinese efforts to steal secrets, and more. The department is also seeking the extradition from Canada of Huawei’s Chief Financial Officer Wanzhou Meng, the daughter of the company’s billionaire founder and who the U.S. believes was involved in the company’s criminal conspiracy.
There is bipartisan agreement about the national security threat posed by Huawei and other Chinese tech firms.

Utah Prosecutor Close to Completing Investigation of Hillary Clinton, Attorney General Says

Then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced in a letter (pdf) on March 29, 2018, that he had assigned Huber to investigate a list of potential crimes outlined by Republicans in Congress.

Trump FALSELY Claims Mueller Statement Exonerates Him
Trump on Thursday ranted against special counsel Robert Mueller’s statement the day before by mischaracterizing Mueller’s conclusions and falsely suggesting that the investigation exonerated him despite Mueller’s insistence that it did not. In a series of early-morning tweets Trump falsely claimed that “highly conflicted Robert Mueller would have brought charges, if he had ANYTHING, but there were no charges to bringâ€
Mueller explained on Wednesday that he could not bring charges because of Department of Justice legal guidance that states that a president cannot be charged with a crime and that “If we had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said that†Mueller said Wednesday
In his remarks, Mueller strongly hinted at congressional impeachment proceedings against Trump, saying that the Constitution “requires a process other than the criminal justice system to formally accuse a sitting president of wrongdoingâ€
Trump on Thursday falsely claimed that “Mueller didn’t find Obstruction eitherâ€
Mueller’s report outlined several examples of potential obstruction of justice stating “Our investigation found multiple acts by the President that were capable of exerting undue influence over law enforcement investigations, including the Russian-interference and obstruction investigations. These incidents were often carried out through on-on-one meetings in which the President sought to use his official power outside official channelsâ€
Mueller made it clear that the investigation “does not exonerate Trumpâ€
“If we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, we are unable to reach that judgment. Accordingly it does not exonerate himâ€

Joe diGenova: Robert Mueller Should be Immediately Disbarred – He Stood the Constitution on its Head (VIDEO)
…But on Wednesday, Mueller personally came out and smeared President Trump in a disgusting and shameful one-sided press conference….

The notion that he would say, “If we had confidence that the president didn’t commit a crime we would have said that.†He should be disbarred for having made that statement in public. Trump Claimed A Right To Obstruct Justice And Admitted That Russia Helped Get Him Elected
Trump spent Thursday morning raging about special counsel Robert Mueller, who delivered his first public remarks about the Russia investigation the day before, and insisted his apparent efforts to impede the probe were justified because he thought the case was unfair, and he actually Tweeted:
“Russia, Russia, Russia. That’s all you heard at the beginning of this Witch Hunt Hoax. And now Russia has disappeared because I had nothing to do with Russia HELPING ME TO GET ELECTEDâ€
This explains Comrade Reagan:

Democrats’ Russia Collusion Delusion Devolves Into Chants of ‘Cover Up’
If you thought the Mueller investigation was a fishing expedition in search of a fish that didn’t exist, wait until you learn what House Democrats propose to do.
Standing in the rubble of their collapsed Russia Collusion Delusion, Nancy Pelosi and the rest of her robotic leadership team are now chanting “cover upâ€! They contend President Trump is now hiding evidence of his obstruction of justice.
A little background is in order. Robert Mueller’s parting gift to rabid, partisan, Trump-hating leftists was his conclusion that he couldn’t really decide if Trump attempted to obstruct justice in relation to a crime that never existed.
Instead of a Parthian Shot, this was more of a Pilate’s Shot.
Attorney General William Barr wasn’t suffering from analysis paralysis. He said there was no evidence of obstruction.
This is where chants of “cover up†enter the picture. Democrats are claiming — just as accurately as they claimed Trump was Putin’s Pawn — that Barr is concealing evidence of the president’s guilt by only releasing a “redacted†version of the Mueller report and they are preparing to hold Barr in contempt of Congress.
National Review Online shows just how empty that hook is. “…it’s worth remembering that [Barr] has made available to top Democrats the entirety of volume II of the Mueller report [dealing with ‘obstruction’], save for two full and seven partial lines, which were redacted to protect grand jury secrecy in keeping with federal law.”
Had Barr not redacted those handful of words he would have been breaking federal law.
That’s not good enough for the left, because what they are demanding is not what they really want. NRO explains, “But Democratic leaders are not asking for ‘that version,’ which retains its grand jury redactions; they are asking, and subpoenaed for, a fully unredacted report and all of the millions of pages of underlying documentary evidence, which relate to 22 ongoing criminal investigations.â€
That’s a fishing expedition with a vengeance even if it is in a lake that is thoroughly fished out.
What the left wants to do is selectively leak grand jury testimony — also against the law, but for the left the end always justifies the mean— to damage the president and members of his family, his administration, and any random supporters of the left can manage to smear.
As Barr wrote Rep. Jerry Nadler, one of the most rabid of the Get Trump left, regarding the Democrats refusal to examine the most “transparent version of the report†that’s currently available to leadership, it “naturally raises questions about the sincerity of the committee’s interest in and purported need for the redacted material.â€

JethroBodine and the Twittler crowd are going down in flames
Here’s Why Trump Is Desperately Lying and Trashing Robert Mueller
By next week, Robert Mueller will surely have received his own slanderous nickname as Trump brands him the dirty scoundrel who spearheaded the failed “coup” against him. Trump started his offensive Thursday morning with a meager swipe at the “highly conflicted” Mueller, but he quickly labeled Mueller a “true never Trumper†and by midday Trump was recounting his favorite fantasy that Mueller wanted to be his FBI director. It’s only going to get worse now that Mueller has broken his silence, choosing to specifically emphasize the fact that his report in no way exonerated Trump and, in fact, that Mueller had been handcuffed by Justice Department policy and prevented from indicting Trump
Following Mueller’s eight-minute red alert to America and Congress, conservative talkers actually struggled to square Mueller’s not-so-revelatory revelations with the lies Trump and Attorney General William Barr have been spewing about his final report. Their overwhelming dismay at Mueller’s truths—repeated almost verbatim from the report—highlights the bind Trump is in after touting Mueller’s findings for months and going so far as to say that Mueller had acted honorably
Following Mueller’s televised statement, Trump’s PR flacks at Fox News circled the wagons to quickly declare that Mueller had “ended his career in total disgrace” and that his “testimony is irrelevant.” In the coming days, Trump’s attacks will surely sharpen as he seeks to knock Mueller off the public-opinion pedestal he has been occupying
Before yesterday, Mueller came damn close to being the current most trusted figure in American politics, as poll after poll demonstrated. A Monmouth poll released last week showed that 73% of Americans want him to testify before Congress (58% at a public hearing, 14% say closed-door). Given the choice between whom voters trust to level with them about Russia’s attack on our elections, Mueller or Barr, voters choose Mueller by 20 points, 48%-28%, according to Civiqs polling from mid-May. And in early May, 72% of voters said Mueller conducted a fair investigation, including 65% of Republicans, according to Quinnipiac polling
Trump needs to tank Mueller’s numbers, and fast. Mueller’s assertion that he’s said everything he has to say and hopes not to speak publicly about the Russia matter again makes him an even more perfect witness for Congress, especially now that he’s no longer beholden to the Justice Department. So expect a vile onslaught from Trump. Mueller’s testimony could be lethal, even if he does nothing more than simply repeat all the wrongdoing his investigation turned up

Ice Deported A Lutheran Pastor And Her Husband. Are You Feeling Safer Yet? Is JethroBodine Happy To See Twittler Abuse The System?
The Trump administration’s unshackled Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency has deported a Lutheran minister and her husband to Colombia, leaving behind their daughter and young granddaughter, as well as a devastated community that rallied to the family’s aid
This family’s nightmare began just weeks ago when ICE agents took the couple’s daughter into custody as her young daughter sat in their car. This should never have happened in the first place because as a Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals recipient she’s supposed to be shielded from deportation. ICE agents didn’t care
These out-of-control agents then maliciously used Hincapie-Rendón to arrest her parents, Carlos Hincapie and Betty Rendón, a cancer survivor and a “Lutheran minister who was set to start her doctorate at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago in June,†the Chicago Sun Times reported. They’ve lived here for 15 years, have no criminal record, and shouldn’t have been a priority for arrest either, but ICE didn’t care
The faith community in Racine, Wisconsin, where Rendón is a pastor, held a vigil outside the detention facility where she was being jailed, while others collected 13,000 signatures calling for her release from detention, adding to the 65 organizations that also voiced their support. ICE didn’t care.
Hincapie-Rendón is now unsure of when she’ll see her parents again. As a DACA recipient, she can’t leave the country. She “made a public plea to release her parents, saying she is a single mother who relies on them to help raise her daughter. She said at a recent rally that she feels like she is living in a ‘nightmare.’ She declined a separate interview,†the Chicago Tribune reported
“We are hurt, we are bothered, and we are angry,†said Rev. Ruben Duran of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. “We won’t let it paralyze us. On the contrary, we want to function as a driving force that is working to ask for justice and liberty for her.†Will this family’s deportation make us safer? Will it make us more prosperous? Will it make us greater? No, no, and no. The cruelty is the point. The cruelty has always been the point
“Rest easy, fellow Chicagoans. We no longer have to live in fear of Betty Rendón Madrid,†wrote Chicago Tribune columnist Rex Huppke. “Thanks to the heroic work of agents from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Rendón Madrid has been deported from Chicago to her native Colombia. She sought asylum in the United States in 2006, was denied asylum in 2008 and then, as the years went on, became the one thing Americans fear most: a Lutheran student pastor with no criminal recordâ€

**BREAKING NEWS** That JethroBodine and the Twittler Twerks will NEVER show since it proves OBSTRUCTION
Transcript Released Of Flynn Voicemail From Trump Lawyer Showing Attempt To Obstruct
Washington (CNN)The Justice Department on Friday released a transcript of a call from Donald Trump’s attorney John Dowd to Rob Kelner, the lawyer for Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn, where he sought information about Flynn’s discussions with the special counsel and how Dowd also wanted to remind Flynn about “the President and his feelings towards Flynn”
The transcript was submitted to a federal court in Washington following a judge’s order to submit it. The call, which occurred on November 22, 2017, was part of the investigation into potential obstruction by Robert Mueller covered in his lengthy report
“The government further represents that it is not relying on any other recordings, of any person, for purposes of establishing the defendant’s guilty or determining his sentence, nor are there other recordings that are part of the sentencing record,” the Friday filing says, in the only sentence apparently addressing their response to Sullivan’s order for the Flynn transcripts of calls with Russians
Separately, the Justice Department hasn’t released any additional parts of the Mueller report that were previously confidential. The judge had told prosecutors they needed to make public redacted sections of the report that pertained to Flynn by today. Prosecutors said Friday that all of the information about Flynn or that Flynn gave to Mueller that made it into the report is already public

Hey, Rob, uhm, this is John again. Uh, maybe, I-I-I’m-I’m sympathetic; I understand your situation, but let me see if I can’t … state it in … starker terms. If you have … and it wouldn’t surprise me if you’ve gone on to make a deal with, and, uh, work with the government, uh … I understand that you can’t join the joint defense; so that’s one thing. If, on the other hand, we have, there’s information that. .. implicates the President, then we’ve got a national security issue, or maybe a national security issue, I don’t know … some issue, we got to-we got to deal with, not only for the President, but for the country. So … uh … you know, then-then, you know, we need some kind of heads up. Um, just for the sake of … protecting all our interests, if we can, without you having to give up any … confidential information. So, uhm, and if it’s the former, then, you know, remember what we’ve always said about the President and his feelings toward Flynn and, that still remains, but-Well, in any event, uhm, let me know, and, uh, I appreciate your listening and taking the time. Thanks, Pal

A special post for our bud and good sport, Reg:
I hope that Trump pardons Obama and Hillary when Barr’s work is done. The main reason to pardon Hillary is to make Bill’s life unbearable and the reason to pardon Obama is that Michele will make his life unbearable. Karma is coming.
Yes Joe, if Mop Head wouldn’t pardon them their life could possibly become quite Stormy;
