OBITUARY OF DORIS JOAN FLOWERS
KOEHLER FUNERAL HOMES-BOONVILLE AND CHANDLER
Doris Jean Flowers, 68, of Newburg, Indiana, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 24, 2019, at her residence surrounded by family.
She was born on January 1, 1952, in Evansville, Indiana, the daughter of the late Bernard and Deloris (Holder) Hall.
Doris loved her family very much; she enjoyed playing Bingo and vacationing when possible. She worked at Escalade sports for over thirty years.
She is survived by two daughters, Connie Evans and her husband James, Dawn Flowers and her husband Jesse; son, David Flowers; grandchildren, Ashley Flowers, Sarah Flowers, Jacob Flowers (Rachel Bennett), Chelsey Allison, Zachary Flowers and his wife Alex, Hillary Flowers, Cameron Flowers, Chase Evans; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sarah (Joe) Studer, Reva (Monte) Kelley; brother, James Linda) Hall; seven nieces, three nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Angela; grandsons, Cody and Lil David; two sisters, Cathy, Jackie; and brother, Bernie.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at Koehler Funeral Home Perigo Chapel in Chandler, IN and again on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
Services are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at the funeral home with Father Ted Temple officiating. The final resting place will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Evansville.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Kidney Foundation in Doris’s memory.
