LEFT JAB AND RIGHT JAB”

“Right Jab And Left Jab” was created because we have two commenters that post on a daily basis either in our “IS IT TRUE” or “Readers Forum” columns concerning National or International issues.
Joe Biden and Ronald Reagan’s comments are mostly about issues of national interest.  The majority of our “IS IT TRUE” columns are about local or state issues, so we have decided to give Mr. Biden and Mr. Reagan exclusive access to our newly created “LEFT JAB and RIGHT JAB”  column. They now have this post to exclusively discuss national or world issues that they feel passionate about.
We shall be posting the “LEFT JAB” AND “RIGHT JAB” several times a week.  Oh, “Left Jab” is a liberal view and the “Right Jab is representative of the more conservative views. Also, any reader who would like to react to the written comments of the two gentlemen is free to do so.

    Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Kathleen Kavalec’s written account of her Oct. 11, 2016, meeting with FBI informant Christopher Steele shows the Hillary Clinton campaign-funded British intelligence operative admitted that his research was political and facing an Election Day deadline.

    And that confession occurred 10 days before the FBI used Steele’s now-discredited dossier to justify securing a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant to surveil former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page and the campaign’s ties to Russia.

    Steele’s client “is keen to see this information come to light prior to November 8,” the date of the 2016 election, Kavalec wrote in a typed summary of her meeting with Steele and Tatyana Duran, a colleague from Steele’s Orbis Security firm. The memos were unearthed a few days ago through open-records litigation by the conservative group Citizens United….

  3. On Wednesday May 9, 2019, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill that would allow for teachers to be armed on campus.

    Despite pressure from anti-gun groups, DeSantis signed SB 7030 into law, which would allow for school or contract employees, in addition to law enforcement officers, be armed under Florida’s new Guardian Program. These individuals must be appointed by the local district superintendent and then approved by the school board.

    The selected volunteer “Guardians” must complete rigorous training and have a valid concealed carry license. The course includes 144 hours of training, with a particular focus on firearms usage. The bill passed both chambers of Florida State legislature on strict party line votes.

    The bill passed the Republican-controlled state legislature earlier this year with largely partisan approval. Apart from Florida, eight other states carry firearms on campus.

  4. 109,144: April Border Crossings Set Another Record As Crisis Spirals Out Of Control

    For comparison, there were 103,719 apprehensions in March and 76,534 in February. There were more than 60,000 arrests each of the three months prior to that, and the numbers before September 2018 all ranged from 30,000 to 50,000.

    The latest number of 109,144 is a new record. Of those, 58,474 were recorded as members of family units, another all-time high, according to data released Wednesday.
