IS IT TRUE when Saratoga Gaming Of New York purchased Ellis Park from former owner Ron Geary over a year ago, they promised members of the Kentucky Racing Commission that they would do some major renovations at that facility once they took over ownership of it?  …since the time Saratoga Gaming Of New York purchased Ellis Park they have done very little to upgrade the historic racing facility?
IS IT TRUE we’ve been told that the patrons of Ellis Park are extremely disappointed that Saratoga Gaming Of New York hasn’t updated the interior decor of the aging “Club House” building? …we are also told that patrons of Ellis Park are extremely disappointed that Saratoga Gaming of New York hasn’t spent the money to professionally pave and stripe the parking lot, install additional exterior security lighting, update the information and directional signage, install a first-class exterior digital on-premise sign located next to the highway and most importantly replaced some of the out-dated Historial slot machines?
IS IT TRUE yesterday we received confirmation from extremely reliable sources that Saratoga Gaming Of New York has signed a contract with a successful gaming, hotel and retail development corporation located in Albuquerque, New Mexico to purchase Ellis Park? …we are told that the Kentucky Racing Commission is currently reviewing this deal?  …we are also told that this deal has been extremely tedious and complex to analyze? …we are told that the Kentucky Racing Commission is hoping to put this agreement on the upcoming June-2019 Kentucky Racing Commission agenda for discussion and approval?  …our sources tell us that the chances of this deal being approved by the Kentucky Racing Commission are very good?
IS IT TRUE we are extremely pleased to hear that the new owner’s of Ellis Park may be  Laguna Development Corporation from Albuquerque, New Mexico because they have a solid management team in place and the proven financial strength that will guarantee a stable long term business strategy for Ellis Park?
