The Aces’ men’s team earned three top-10 finishes during the fall season, including a best finish of fourth at the Northern Kentucky Collegiate Classic on Sept. 23 and 24. On the women’s side, Evansville closed a strong fall campaign with an impressive performance in its penultimate tournament. Competing at the Chi-Town/Ted Rhodes Fall Invite, the Aces shot a team score of 620 to win the tournament, while senior Sydney Anderson earned the individual championship with a 36-hole score of 151, including a tournament best even-par 72 in the opening round.
A year ago, the Aces each earned top three finishes at the ASU Spring Kickoff as the women’s team captured a third-place finish, while Evansville’s men finished second in the tournament. This season’s tournament features host Alabama State, Alabama A&M, Arkansas Pine-Bluff, Chicago State, Eastern Illinois, Manhattan and Western Illinois on the men’s side and host Alabama State, Eastern Illinois, Maryland – Eastern Shore, and Western Illinois as competitors for Evansville’s women’s team.
