1. Hot Car Deaths are sadly on the rise in the United States…

   You can’t be comfortable with the fact that children are being left alone in vehicles for hours at a time, with the windows rolled up and the car turned off.

   Would you be surprise if you were told that temperatures inside all vehicles are hotter than the temperatures outside and can reach over 100 degrees quickly, even with the windows, rolled down or cracked?

   Or would you not believe it and continue to leave your child or children in hot vehicles.

   When a child body temperature reaches a certain degrees, such as 104 degrees or less depending on the child, to 107 degrees or above, from being left alone, in hot parked cars, the child or children are at risk for not just organ damages, heat strokes, loss of consciousness, but deaths.

   Some say leaving a child, in a hot, motor vehicle is neglect or abuse, even if the driver forgot the child was in the vehicle. Others say leaving a child, in a hot motor vehicle, can happen to anyone.

   Take away: Children do play in unlock cars, as well as, the trunk…
   KEEP IT LOCKED!!!!

   Whether it’s unintentionally (forgot) or intentionally (grocery shopping) leaving children in hot cars, which causes severe injuries, organ damages, heat strokes, loss of consciousness and deaths can be ruled a homicide.

   Drivers upon exiting cars, SUV’S, School Buses and Daycare Vans don’t forget to take the child or children in the back seat or seats with you.
