Police investigating threatening Twitter posts

Evansville Police are investigating Twitter posts that were put on-line yesterdayEPD_PATCH_2012.
The first contained statements about committing violence at an EPD facility. The second contained similar statements, but mentioned an University of Evansville event as a potential location. Both comments were posted on the same Twitter account.
The EPD is working with U of E security to increase safety efforts on and near the campus.

  1. The timing is too serious. When this person is caught and convicted, they should be sentanced with no BS time off for good behavior.

    I believe this probably falls into the category of a FEDERAL FELONY. When you are convicted in a federal court, it is mandatory that 85% of the sentance be served.

  2. Hopefully they see if the alleged perp’s “residence” has an open WiFi before they call in SWAT this time.
