1. EXECUTIVE SESSION:

1. An executive session and a closed hearing will be held prior to the open session.

2. The executive session and hearing are closed as provided by:

1. I.C. 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(5): To receive information about and interview prospective employees.
2. I.C. 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(6)(A): With respect to any individual over whom the governing body has jurisdiction to receive information concerning the individual’s alleged misconduct.
3. I.C. 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(9): To discuss a job performance evaluation of individual employees.  This subdivision does not apply to a discussion of the salary, compensation, or benefits of employees during a budget process.

1. 1. Sgt. Steve Kleeman reports on the 16 officers in the field-training program.
   2. Final probationary interview for Officer Michael Hayden and Officer Tyler Wilson.  Probationary period end January 29, 2019

6. MERIT AWARD RECOMMENDATION:

1. 1. Civilian Brian Hoffman for actions taken on January 7, 2019 to rescue a driver whose truck submerged in the lake behind 130 Cross Pointe Blvd.

7. APPLICANT PROCESS:

1. 1. Discuss status of 2018 Applicant List and selection process.

8. RETIREMENTS:

1. 1. Captain Gary Voegel, Badge Number 0332, retired effective January 12, 2019 after serving 36 years, 4 months, and 1 day.

9. REMINDERS:  The next meeting is Monday, February 11, 2019 at 4:00pm in Room 307.
