Evansville Police are continuing to investigate a late night shooting at 1014 Jefferson. Police responded to the home around 11:40pm and found 30 year old Matthew Green in front of the house. Green had been shot one time on the leg.
Green said he was shot during a robbery attempt. The suspect has been identified as 23 year old KEVIN ANTONIO WASHINTON. WASHINGTON fled the scene with two unidentified men after the shooting.
Green was treated at a local hospital for his gunshot wound. It was not considered life threatening.
Anyone with info on WASHINGTON is asked to call 911. He is considered armed and dangerous.
