The Hoosier-made Highlander named Consumer Reports’ Midsized SUV “Top Pick†for 2013
(Washington, DC) – Consumer Reports recently named the Toyota Highlander, made in Princeton, Indiana, the 2013 “Top Pick†for Midsized SUVs.
Established in 1996, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana employs over 4,000 Hoosiers.
Representative Larry Bucshon: “Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Princeton has been a leader in economic development for Gibson County and the rest of Southwestern Indiana,†said Rep. Bucshon. “This award is a tribute to their work. The Highlander and other vehicles are made here in the 8th District to then be shipped and sold across the United States and around the world. I have had the pleasure of meeting many of the Princeton team members and have personally toured the facility where these vehicles are produced. I am proud to see the work of fellow Hoosiers acknowledged and I commend everyone at Toyota for their hard work and dedication.â€
