The Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana is pleased to announce Zach Evans as the organization’s new Director of Communications and Community Projects.
Evans, an Evansville native, joins the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana at an exciting time as the organization transitions from its office space and gallery at Innovation Pointe to its new location in the historic Weingarten Furs building at 212 Main St. in Downtown Evansville.
Evans earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana. He was previously employed at the Evansville Courier & Press, where he worked for five years as a journalist covering politics and music.
Evans is a proud representative of the arts community as a local musician. He’s performed with several bands and artists in the Evansville area over the last decade and is currently in the band Corduroy Orbison.
