Three Hoosier divers and Indiana University head diving coach Drew Johansen will get action underway at the 2018 FINA Diving World Cup in Wuhan, China starting on Tuesday, June 5.
Johansen will serve as head coach for Team USA at the World Cup and will have three familiar faces on his squad. Former Hoosier Michael Hixon will compete in the men’s springboard and the men’s 3-meter synchro. Current IU divers Andrew Capobianco (men’s springboard) and Jessica Parratto (women’s 10-meter synchro) will also be in action.
The prelims and final of the men’s 3-meter synchro is scheduled for Tuesday, while the prelims of the men’s springboard is scheduled for Wednesday, with the semifinals and final of the event on Thursday. The prelims and final of the women’s 10-meter synchro will be on Thursday as well.
