  1. An insider told me that the Courier and Press was forced out of their Evansville headquarters by the group that bought the building from them. There was also another round of layoffs and the remaining employees will be working from their homes. The CP is now just like the CCO except the CCO is locally owned. You guys should fill the vacuum that the CP is leaving.

    • The C&P spun the sale of the building in a news article as a positive thing.

      If what you are saying is true, it is typical of the type of spin doctoring and lying that citizens are subject to in Evansville by local media, politicians, police, etc.

    • Perhaps the backside of this story is the impact on the downtown TIF considering that Vectren’s building will take a hit on value should the acquiring utility decide to relocate and they probably will . . .

      Not true. The second floor of the Courier and Press building is starting a two-month renovation. Staff is relocating to the first floor while this happens.

  3. Wonder why CNN never asked Stormy’s attorney why he never paid over nearly $5 mil in taxes withheld from his employees’ pay checks. The tax lien was filed in King County, Seattle, WA. Now, that the light of day is on this scumbag, perhaps the public sees his true motives. Need $$$$ to pay my tax obligations!!!!

  5. It was painful (I usually don’t frequent fake news) but I read the Politico link, Regulator. In case you didn’t the Justice department said the FBI said there were no records of “wiretaps”. There was surveillance, but I don’t expect you to believe it until you are told by Politico, Huffpo, etc.
    What has Joe B. posted here that isn’t true? Hate to put an undue burden on your brilliant mind, knowing that answering the question would require you to actually read the articles.
