We hope that today’s “Readers Forum” will provoke honest and open dialogue concerning issues that we, as responsible citizens of this community, need to address in a rational and responsible way?

WHATS ON YOUR MIND TODAY?

Todays “Readers Poll” question is: Do you feel that our elected officials should demand that a forensic audit should be conducted on all the ECHO funds earmarked to help the disadvantaged?

Please take time and read our articles entitled “STATEHOUSE Files, CHANNEL 44 NEWS, LAW ENFORCEMENT, READERS POLL, BIRTHDAYS, HOT JOBS” and “LOCAL SPORTS”.  You now are able to subscribe to get the CCO daily.

  1. It is a damn shame the Indiana Legislature could not pass the 15 million dollar school safety bill. The Governor asked for this money, late, but still in time for passage. Sounds like Indy operates like DC and the legislative and executive branches can’t seem to work together. Since the FL school shooting on 2-14, all you have seen is school safety, school safety and school safety. Bad thing is, most people appear to have been more concerned about carrying guns on church property with schools attached. That too died at midnight. Disappointed that Indiana passed up an opportunity to be a leader and start a serious program for our schools.

    • “Student Killed His Entire Class With His Teacher’s Gun.”

Headline guaranteed to be in Indiana papers if you listen to the INSANE GUN NUTS WHO WANT TO ARM TEACHERS.

      Followed by:
“Indiana School Test Scores Plummet After Decision To Arm Teachers”

Your brains are on drugs Sir.

  2. No way would I arm teachers. There are other ways 15 million dollars could be used for sage schools. We may disagree on any thrown out political solution, but as school safety and LE, there should be common ground, don’t you think?

  3. Many schools are now salting their 1st & 2nd grades with heavily armed dwarves, affording school intruders a unique way to check out.
