    ” Keene ISD Superintendent Ricky Stephens said he supports arming his Texas school personnel because it is better to meet deadly threats with pistols rather than pencils. …

    WFAA reports that Keene ISD and other school districts in Texas are allowed to arm certain school personnel via the Protection of Texas Children Law (2013). The law allows districts to created/designate “school marshals” for their campuses. Those marshals are chosen from school employees and are put through special training to carry and use a firearm on campus.”

    Superintendent Stephens praised the creation of “school marshals,” saying, “Administrators and teachers are going to be the first ones who arrive, so do you want them to arrive with a pencil or a pistol?”

    Keene ISD Chief Ronny Potts echoed Stephens’ sentiment and rejected claims that teachers are not up to the task of defending themselves and their students. Potts said, “I would have them back me up as a police officer because they’re qualified. They’re determined to survive, and to save kids.”

    And here is, as Paul Harvey would say, the rest of the story: who has joined a cabal of Russians/Democrats/Trump haters in general in overturning a U.S. election and driving a duly elected president from office.

I’m outraged but not at all surprised by the left-wing Courier & Pravda’s huge front page article that inferred the wacked Florida mass murderer was a time-bomb because he been on the schools Jr. ROTC, get this, AIR RIFLE team sponsored by the NRA. Sure, it’s a dream blame game for the leftists, white male, military, NRA and even air rifles (likely the dreaded single shot .17 cal pellet that is propelled to a paper target by compressed air). NO mention of the FBI ignoring the warnings called in prior to shootings and NO mention of the 37 police calls to his home. Outrageous, but the liberal media bias is so predictable and the Russian Times even has basically the same article as the Courier & Pravda.

    • Both the new-Obama Sanders Democrats and the Russians would love to see guns banned in the US. Looks like they are on the same page to disarm the US. Old school Democrats have no where to go since the party has been hijacked by anti-Christians, socialists, global warming, abortion on demand, open borders, sanctuary cities, gender bending and violent Antifa punks. Democrats used to be for working families, now they are for non-citizens that protest against our Country. And they still can’t figure out how Trump was elected.

    • It sure appears that law enforcement is complicit regarding signals of oncoming tragedies. One week ago today Maygen Sears was shot down by her astranged husband. She called the police numerous times begging for safety from this madman. Not only did this crazy threatened her life but that on her father and siblings. She did everything right. She gave the police the addresses of her siblings and father. Nevertheless the crazy shows up at her brothers home on Linwood. She was frannitically knocking on her brothers door to let her in but the crazy grabs her pulling her into his 80k Land Rover and when her brother got to his door only to witness the crazy putting a bullet in her head then shot her once more fleeting the scene tracting down Mr Popp at the intersection of 41 and Morgan killing him. Because of law enforcements inptness Maygen’s daughter is an orphan and we have three dead Individuals. EDP spokesman says they wheee looking for him. Now Maygen gave EPD the description of the crazy and his vehicle. Black Land Rover with FL plates. How can you miss a Land Rover decked with FL plates? Maybe the 7th Circuit was correct when referring to the Evansville PD as the “Keystone Kops”
