  1. Huh, the Democrats get a full spread about their events, but the Libertarian Party sends info about the Vice Presidencial candidate Judge Jim Gray coming to Evansville this week(the only VP candidate to visit Evansville this year) to the CCO and nothing is posted. Anyway…event is open to the public. Fox & Hound Restaurant/Pub this Saturday, November 3rd 6-8PM. Lt Gov candidate Brad Klopfenstein from Newburgh will host, with special guest speakers Rupert Boneham candidate for Governor, Andrew Horning candidate for Senate, followed by Judge Jim Gray. Other candidates in attendance will be Bart Gadau for congress and Kurt Clement for Vand County Council. Hope to see everyone there. Admission is free, please bring a couple canned goods to donate to the Evansville Christian Life Center. Individuals will pay for their own food/drinks.

    • Has the Libertarian line-up come to Evansville previously in this election cycle? En masse? I’m asking, because so many voters will have cast their ballots long before Nov. 3, during the early voting opportunity. There does seem to be a paucity of media coverage for any Libertarian events or candidates. That’s too bad, because any American political party capable of putting candidates on the ballot has something to offer our political dialogue.

      • We have had several events locally, but getting media to cover it is next to impossible. WEHT has been good about giving us coverage, but the other channels and the newspaper just ignore us completely. The only event the media went to was our meet the candidates night early in the election cycle and they said they would only come if Rupert Boneham would be there, and that was just because of his celebrity status from Survivor.
