  2. While we rightly celebrated First Responders in Evansville, not so with the domestic terrorists known as Antifa:

    An armed Antifa group is launching a new cell in Philadelphia, with support from the “alt-left” alternative media. The group currently hosts anti-police workshops called “Our Enemies in Blue.” The group draws inspiration from convicted murderers and calls for violence against the police, theft of goods, and armed insurrection….Taking pride in the “legacy” of “Philadelphia’s rich revolutionary tradition,” RAM cites Mumia Abu Jamal, the Black Panther activist who shot and killed Philadelphia police officer Daniel Faulkner in 1981….Despite active calls for violence against law enforcement and revolution against the government, the liberal media has been surprisingly lenient in its coverage of Antifa, depicting them as righteous crusaders against the rise of white supremacy.”

    • Hey Joe Buddy. Last Sunday’s CCO column had a post describing how the USS LST-325 fought for the United States carrying US soldiers who fought and died protecting our country from Nazis. You support the guys carrying a Nazi flag? Its simple. You are scum.

      • I support First Responders and oppose any domestic terrorists like the Klan, Neo-Nazis and Antifa. Any hate group, left or right, that advocates rioting, violence against law enforcement and violence against other Americans based on skin color, political party or other pretexts are domestic terrorists and should be opposed. Why is that so hard for liberals and Trump haters to understand??

  3. Every administration since I can remember has catered to Saudi Arabia with the present one just OK’ing $100 billion in an arms deal.

    The country of Kosovo that we saved from genocide in the 90’s is Muslim but wasn’t an extremist or radical form of Islam until Saudi Arabia built Mosques there and sent radical Salafi clerics there after we saved the country. Now, the extremists coming from that country to fight in Syria and elsewhere is staggering.

    Good ole Saudi Arabia. Saudi Wahhabism created bin Laden and Salafism is the driving force behind ISIS.

    Yet Iran who filled their hydrogen bomb nuclear facility in Arak full of concrete is “on notice” and Saudi Arabia gets $100 billion in arms.

  4. For disaffected;

    One of my beyond beautiful Red Headed Woodpeckers got hit and ran over by a car 5 days ago. I went out to get it to freeze it and show people but it was too smashed so I moved it to the side of the road.

    Everyday since I’ve seen its’ mate land by it for about 10 to 15 seconds at a time then fly off. Sitting on my front porch talking to my boy this morning I saw it do the same thing so I walked over and all that is left is a few black and white feathers.

    Evidently they mate for life. Sad. But here’s something neat;

  5. That link was a picture of me when I heard my choices in the 2016 presidential election. Since the election, it’s become a daily reflection in my mirror.

    Sorry to hear about the Red Head, but there must be something in the air around here. There was a Pileated in similar condition on Harmony Way earlier this year and I just saw another flattened on Mesker Park by the old Parkway. I think they might be after the wooly worms that are starting to look for winter domiciles, but that’s just a layman’s guess.
