Retail store and design firm, Enjole‘ Interiors, was honored in May with an EDGE Award. The recognition from EDGE, an acronym for Economic Development and Growth Through Entrepreneurship, is bestowed annually to emerging and established small businesses in recognition for their contributions to Indiana’s economic growth. Each EDGE recipient received assistance from the Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC), which supports 10 regional offices across the state, providing entrepreneurs with expert guidance and resources for starting and growing businesses. Indiana Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch, and Linda McMahon, administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), presented the award to Sharon Seitz Lemond, Owner and President of Enjole‘ Interiors. Upon receiving the distinction, Lemond appreciatively stated, “So honored to be presented the EDGE Award by the ISBDC for Emerging Business of 2017 in the Southwest region of Indiana. Without the ISBDC in conjunction with the Small Business Administration working with me one-on-one to develop my business plan, Enjole‘ Interiors would still be a dream. Thank you, Pete Sabella, for guiding, educating, and a little handholding, to help my dream come true!†Pete Sabella volunteers as a business advisor for the Southwest ISBDC.
